The project required a shared path solution capable of crossing low-lying, flood-prone terrain while protecting nearby vegetation and maintaining continuous public access.

Flood-prone ground:
Elevated FRP boardwalk sections allowed the path to span wet and uneven terrain without major earthworks.

Environmental protection:

Lightweight construction minimised disturbance to sensitive vegetation and drainage corridors.

Year-round accessibility:

Raised boardwalk design maintains safe pedestrian and cycling access during wet weather.

Efficient construction:

Modular FRP components reduced installation time and avoided deep excavation or heavy civil works.
