Our Story
DM Composites was founded with a clear purpose: to combine specialist composite engineering with practical infrastructure delivery. Today, our capability extends from early engineering and material selection through to manufacturing, procurement, piling, civil works, installation and complete project delivery.
Where it started
The DM Composites story started well before the company itself. Our foundations were built through engineering, composite materials and infrastructure projects across international and Australian markets.
Founders Davy Vulpio and Mansour Ahamed brought together complementary backgrounds in mechanical and civil engineering, along with hands-on experience delivering composite solutions across challenging infrastructure environments.
That shared experience created the foundation for something bigger: a company capable of doing more than supplying composite products.

Every stage of our growth has added another layer of capability, experience and responsibility.
How we've evolved
As our projects became larger and more complex, our capability evolved with them. Clients increasingly wanted more than materials. They needed engineering support, constructability input, coordinated procurement, specialist installation and a single team capable of taking responsibility for delivery.
DM Composites grew to meet that need. Today, we operate across the full project lifecycle, combining specialist composite knowledge with practical civil and structural infrastructure delivery.

DM Composites has grown beyond its founders into a multidisciplinary team supporting projects from tender through to completion.
Our people bring together engineering, project management, estimating, procurement, quality, construction and site delivery experience, allowing us to manage both the technical and practical challenges of infrastructure projects.
While our business continues to grow, the principle behind it remains the same: understand the problem, engineer the right solution and take responsibility for delivering it properly.
Our foundation
Our delivery capability has expanded, but composite engineering remains at the heart of DM Composites. We specialise in infrastructure environments where conventional materials can struggle with corrosion, moisture, chemicals, difficult access or ongoing maintenance requirements.
By combining composite materials with practical engineering and construction experience, we can consider the complete lifecycle of an asset, not simply its initial installation.

What drives us
Successful infrastructure requires good engineering, practical constructability, disciplined project management, quality manufacturing and safe execution on site. Our focus is not simply on selling FRP. It is on delivering infrastructure that works.
Solutions should be based on project conditions, loads, environment and required service life.
Good design must also be practical to manufacture, transport, assemble and install.
We believe in clear ownership from the first drawing through to final handover.
Our objective is infrastructure that continues performing well beyond Practical Completion.
The next chapter
DM Composites continues to invest in its people, engineering capability, construction systems and composite technology as we take on larger and more complex infrastructure projects.
Our direction is clear: continue developing better ways to design and build infrastructure in environments where durability, access, constructability and whole-of-life performance matter.
We will keep growing our capability across Australia and New Zealand while staying focused on the specialist knowledge that built the company in the first place.
