The project required a boardwalk system capable of performing in a moisture-prone, environmentally sensitive setting while supporting efficient construction and long-term durability.

Moisture and environmental exposure

FRP structural members and decking were selected to withstand constant moisture, UV exposure, and potential flooding without deterioration.

Environmental sensitivity

Lightweight FRP systems reduced ground disturbance and supported installation within protected natural areas.

Integration with civil works

Detailed IFC-level documentation ensured accurate alignment with piling layouts and site tolerances.

Efficient installation

Modular FRP components allowed streamlined installation with reduced on-site adjustments.

Material-specific performance

The design accounted for FRP characteristics such as thermal movement, cutting, and sealing to ensure long-term reliability.
